Marina Del Rey
The dream that eventually became modern Marina del Rey began in 1887 when a developer named M.L. Wicks (working under the auspices of the Santa Fe Railway) sought to create a commercial harbor for the city of Los Angeles from the estuary and inlets of the village of Playa del Rey.
Hi to all my friends and companions hope you are all well. I am very hot at the moment in more ways than one.
I woke up this morning to my phone ringing not unusual you may say but it was 6.am in the morning. It was my friend wide awake by the sound of her voice. What’s up and calm down tell me, ok, she said that we a group of ladies had been invited down to Marina Del Rey for two days all expenses paid (how could I resist). One problem they are picking us up at 9am I got up made myself a drink, non alcoholic of course THEN panic set in what to wear!!
I am now in a spin rushing around like a headless chicken things going in the case things coming back out so excited but stressed. I was picked up by a limousine my friends already inside and that was the start of the fun I will leave things to your imagination. A great time was had by all. This place is certainly worth a visit.
