For My Foodie Friends

Clifton’s Cafeteria 648 Broadway Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90014 $$ Cafeteria, American (Traditional)

Technically, this fine establishment functions more as a cafeteria than a sit-down restaurant, but it is an integral part of Downtown LA’s history—and a memorable experience. Originally opened in the 1930s, the location recently got revamped and now includes three floors of dining tables and two bars. The entire place feels like a natural wonderland filled with secrets. You walk in, grab your food and take a seat anywhere amidst taxidermy wild animals. Wander around to find a vintage telephone booth, a secret small cave and chairs that look like they’re from the stone age. At night, the places buzzes with energy as Downtown’s hipsters settle down for a drink.

GRIMALDI’S Becoming the first location in California, our Grimaldi’s at Continental Park in El Segundo is located at the 2121 building directly off the street at Rosecrans Ave. It is less than 2 miles from Manhattan Beach, which is great for guests who build up an appetite after enjoying some fun in the sun. We have an outdoor open space patio which can seat up to 100 guests comfortably. There are heaters and umbrellas to accommodate patio seating for those dining outside. Similar to most Grimaldi’s, our restaurant offers a full service bar including 2 Local Bottle Beers to please the local crowd. In addition, there is a parking structure located just behind the building, and we offer a pull up spot for all take-out orders. On the weekends, we have Valet Parking area located right next to the restaurant. We also have an Arclight movie theater just around the corner. What better place to catch a movie and some great quality food?!

I only eat in three places here there and everywhere.
